Regional network: Phone survey April 2017, Summary of findings
A phone survey of a limited sample of contacts in Norges Bank's regional network was conducted in the period 18-20 April 2017. All the regions were represented in the survey and 72 private sector contacts were interviewed. The interviews focused on developments in output since February and whether expectations have changed regarding output growth ahead.
In February (survey 1/2017), regional network enterprises expected moderate output growth over the next six months. Information gathered in April indicates that developments in overall activity have been approximately in line with enterprises' expectations in February. Expectations regarding output growth ahead have changed little since February.
