A phone survey of a limited sample of contacts in Norges Bank's regional network was conducted in the period 20-25 April 2015. All the regions were represented in the survey and 73 private sector contacts were interviewed. The interviews focused on developments in output and employment since January.

In January (survey 1/2015), regional network enterprises expected weak output growth over the next six months.Information gathered at the end of April indicates that output has increased approximately in line with enterprises' expectations in January. Expectations regarding output growth ahead have been revised down somewhat from January.

In January, enterprises planned for an unchanged level of employment over the next three months. In April, they reported that developments had been broadly as anticipated and that employment growth was expected to remain at zero ahead. Capacity utilisation would appear to be slightly lower than in January.
