The guidelines for pledging collateral for loans from Norges Bank have been changed in line with the press release of 1 February 2021.

Updated guidelines can be found in Circular 4/2021. Thus, the temporary changes to the guidelines that were published 18 March 2020 have now been reversed. Securities in NOK with a guarantee from a Norwegian local government authority will continue to be exempt from the credit rating requirement.
