This is a technical report which documents the design, execution, and findings from Norges Bank’s experimental testing of central bank digital currency (CBDC).

The report analyses different architectures, technology choices, and test cases for payments, settlement, and tokenised assets, without providing recommendations on the introduction of a CBDC.
