NBIM invests with external managers across the world in both developed and emerging markets.  Our focus is on equity managers with an information advantage, i.e. single country managers with a locally based team or sector managers with special knowledge. All mandates invest in listed equity only and are long-only products.

Individual mandate guidelines and sizes are tailored to each investment manager. The typical initial funding for each manager ranges from $50-$250 million. We also consider start-up products and mandates without a track record.
