Research interests
Ida Wolden Bache is a senior advisor in the Research Department, Norges Bank. She joined the Research Department in April 2000. Bache holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Oslo and an MSc Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. The title of her thesis is “Econometrics of Exchange Rate Pass-Through”.
Bache’s primary research interests are in the fields of applied macroeconometrics, monetary policy and open economy macroeconomics. Current projects focus on the empirical evaluation of open-economy models and real exchange rate fluctuations.
Bache has taught graduate courses in open economy macroeconomics at the University of Oslo.
