On Friday 7 March Norges Bank hosted a conference on globalisation and monetary policy. The conference was held in honour of Norges Bank's Deputy Governor Jarle Bergo, who is retiring after his second term of office.
Speakers at the conference included President Axel A. Weber, Deutsche Bundesbank, Dr. John Llewellyn, Lehman Brothers, Professor Philip Lane, University of Dublin and Governor Frederic Mishkin, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.
Norges Bank had also invited two young students to give them an opportunity to meet international experts in the field of economics.
