Artashes Karapetyan is an advisor in the research department of Norges Bank. Artashes received his PhD from the University of Zurich in 2009, with a dissertation on Banking and Information Economics. He joined the Bank’s research department in June 2010.

Research interests

Artashes Karapetyan’s main research interests are banking, asymmetric information issues in credit markets, information economics and corporate finance. His dissertation has theoretical and empirical chapters on information sharing and bank competition, as well as the impact of unexpected tax changes on real estate financing.
