Norges Bank publishes figures on the key policy rate, NOWA, NIBOR, Treasury bills and government bonds.
Daily figures are updated at 9 am on the first business day after the quotation day. Figures on all interest rates and figures previous 60 business days are only stored in the Excel- and CSV-files.
Monthly and annual figures are updated at 9 am on the second business day after the quotation day.
Norges Bank does not publish interest rates from other countries.
Key policy rate
The key policy rate (sight deposit rate) is Norges Bank's most important monetary policy instrument.
Norwegian Overnight Weighted Average rate.
NIBOR
Norwegian Inter Bank Offered Rate (money market interest rate).
Treasury bills are government securities, with an original maturity of less than one year.
A bond is an interest-bearing security with an original maturity of more than 1 year.
