The English version of Norges Bank's Annual Report is available in March/April. As from the 2009 report in electronic format only. The report consists of: Report of the Executive Board, financial statements and Norges Bank’s activities.
The report, which contains information about the financial sector gathered by Norges Bank as part of its oversight work, provides an annual update of developments and prices in the payment system.
The articles are written by Norges Bank employees and are peer-reviewed. Published 1925-2012. As from 2013 articles may be published in the series Economic Commentaries or Staff Memo.
This series consists of short, signed articles on current economic issues and are only published on Norges Bank’s website.
The report discusses the risks facing the financial system, particularly credit, liquidity and market risk. Published 1997-2012. See Change in Norges Bank's reports on monetary policy and financial stability (31.10.2012).
A broad assessment of the structure and vulnerabilities of the Norwegian financial system will be published annually in the fourth quarter in a separate report.
The Report contains Norges Bank's assessment of the outlook for the key policy rate and the countercyclical capital buffer for banks. The assessments are based on the economic projections presented in this Report. As from 2013, the Report will be published four times a year, in March, June, September and December.
