Computing in Economics and Finance

The 20th Annual Conference on Computing in Economics and Finance (CEF 2014) will take place at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo, Norway from Sunday, June 22 through Tuesday, June 24, 2014.

We encourage submissions in the fields (broadly defined) of macroeconomics, finance, econometrics, agent based modeling and computational methods.

Deadlines:
Abstract submissions are due by February 15, 2014. Decisions on acceptance will be announced by email on or before March 24, 2014. Registration for presenters of accepted papers must be completed and paid by May 9, 2014. Full papers should be uploaded to Conference Maker by May 16, 2014.

Workshop/Pre-conference

On Friday 20 June 2014, Norges Bank, MacroMontreal and CIRPEE are organizing a joint workshop with the aim of discussing new challenges brought forward by the recent financial crisis and by the sluggish recovery in labor markets experienced by several countries.

Workshop/Post-conference

On Wednesday 25 June 2014, CAMP centre at BI Norwegian Business School organizes a workshop with the purpose of bringing together economists from a variety of fields who share interests in the role of commodities in the global economic world.
