Since 2007, Norges Bank has been working on four books which will be ready and published in June 2016, in conjunction with our 200th anniversary.

Central Banks at a Crossroads: What Can We Learn From History? edited by Michael D. Bordo, Øyvind Eitrheim, Marc Flandreau and Jan F. Qvigstad. Published by Cambridge University Press in June 2016. This book is based on the contributions presented at the conference: "Of the Uses of Central Banks: Lessons From History", organised at Norges Bank in June 2014.
A fourth book, A Monetary History of Norway 1816-2016, by Øyvind Eitrheim, Jan Tore Klovland and Lars Fredrik Øksendal, will be published by Cambridge University Press in autumn 2016.
